Accessible Support for Student Success
American International Technical University has worked hard to provide an accessible learning environment for all students. Students are urged to request accommodations, accessibility support, and guidance for navigating academic requirements if needed. Students who need support are encouraged to submit a request as early as possible so it can be reviewed and they can be reached to follow up with next steps in a timely manner.
Academic Accommodations
Students may request academic adjustments that support access to coursework, assignments, exams, or learning materials.
Online Learning Accessibility
Students may request help with accessing online course content, digital learning tools, or student technology resources.
Communication Support
Students may request assistance related to course communication, instructor interaction, or support service access.
Documentation Guidance
Students can receive guidance on what information may be needed to review an accommodation request.
Student Success Referrals
Students may be connected with tutoring, advising, technology support, or other student success resources when needed.
How to Request Disability Services
Follow the steps below to request disability support services
Step 1: Submit a Request
Complete the Student Success Request Portal and select Disability Services / Accessibility Support.
Step 2: Describe Your Need
Briefly explain the type of support or accommodation you are requesting.
Step 3: Review and Follow-Up
AITU Student Success Services will review the request and follow up with next steps.
Step 4: Support Planning
If approved, support options will be discussed based on the student’s needs, course requirements, and available resources.
